I forgot how much I liked nitro cold brew went with a bigger group on Saturday afternoon and had to take some photos of the space for a school project--the baristas were curious and so sweet and funny def recommend

Copa Vida is one of our favorite coffee shops in Pasadena. The coffee is fantastic and all of the food items we've tried are so flavorful. I ordered the bacon burrito without the tortilla on salad and it was fantastic. I love when places can make adjustments and it's not a big deal. The staff is always super nice and helpful. There's also plenty of comfy seating. It's a great place to bring your notebook and get some work done.

Really enjoyed this cafe for breakfast/brunch. For a cafe, I was actually impressed with how many food items they had! And they aren't your basic small cafe bites like pastries and snacks....they have sandwiches, burritos, toast, soups/salads, bowls..etc. and for very reasonable prices! Pretty big location with two different sections of seating. Service is fast-casual; you order at the counter then seat yourself.

Came on a weekday morning and got their croque madame, tomato soup, and a yogurt parfait to share with a friend after hot yoga. Good thing we only ordered one entree because portions don't seem too big but the croque madame was on the heavier side. Def wouldn't even be able to finish even half of it myself. We didn't order drinks but they do have a good selection of teas that I wouldn't mind trying next time.

Visited this location at 9 AM today, on a Saturday, to catch up with a friend. This is the perfect time to get coffee because the line usually consists of just a few people, typically three or more. There is plenty of open seating, and the overall aesthetic is very nice and clean. Although coffee is expensive these days, I feel like this place is worth it. The staff taking my order were friendly! I saw other reviews on here mentioning different experiences. I feel like, in all things in life, every person and every experience is different. I feel lucky to have had a good experience. I also love the latte art made by the barista (see picture!). Regarding the bathroom, there is one stall for men and women, and it is clean as well. You can park across the street in the parking structure, which is affordable. It was $1 for the first hour and $2 for each additional hour. I would definitely come here more often if I lived in the area, but for now, it's the perfect place to catch up with a friend or even go out on a date! Check it out for yourself. :)

Needed breakfast and a coffee so stopped by. Had their regular coffee and their chai tea. You can tell everything is homemade which is great. The coffee was more on the bitter side which we were ambivalent on but just wanted to put it out there. The food here was great and gratuitous in size! Honestly it's all the perfect type of food you want post hangover. The chorizo hash was super large and the salsa was tremendously flavorful. Their focaccia bread on the side was to die for. Their egg brekkie sandwich was good as well. They also had pastries so we got their Nutella croissant. 15/10. This is the perfect place to work at throughout the day with plenty of seating and chill vibes. The service was quick too which was great. We went early on a Sunday so there was plenty of street parking.

Copa Vida is okay. The prices are pretty high, although they do serve good quality items. The hot food looked better than the Strawberry Croissant that I got. The croissant wasn't the best but the filling and toppings were good. The cappuccino we got was good as well, a little on the smaller side. The staff and overall vibe of the place was pleasant. All in all, good quality on most items and high prices.

We were hunting for a coffee shop with good food in Pasadena and we settled on this cute cafe just off the main strip. Couldn't be happier with our decision. The coffee satisfied our caffeine craving but the star was the vegan eats we chose. I would absolutely go back for the vegan breakfast sandwich. That was the best breakfast sammy I've had in a long time...meat or plant-based. Impossible patty AND a thick slice of tofu (medium density). Perfect texture for the dish. And that bun...so soft and airy. I could not stop talking about it. We also had the roasted tomato and avocado toast. It was a perfect compliment to the breakfast sammy. I cannot wait to go back!
